Art and Design Studio based in Hong Kong

Seika Studio (the “Studio”) is an art and design studio that has been established since 2017. Our creations primarily focus on animals, plants, scenery, and the events happening around us. We believe that nature is an incredible source of inspiration, and through our artworks, we aim to provide moments of relaxation for people to appreciate the beauty of Mother Nature.

"Seika" is a Japanese word that means "blue and white porcelain" in English. We are big fans of this ancient craftsmanship, and we strive to incorporate its elements into our artwork. Not only have we utilized the color combination of blue and white in some of our series, but we have also extracted traditional Chinese painting elements and techniques — such as composition and negative space —from blue and white porcelain to enhance our creations.

We have been working closely with local NGOs and authorities to raise public awareness about environmental and ecological issues affecting our city. Our previous collaborations include WWF, Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the Hong Kong Maritime Museum, the Hong Kong Bird Watching Society, and the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department.
