Trees are strong but vulnerable at the same time: They can survive the toughest natural disasters like typhoon and tsunami, but they can but easily killed by tiny bugs and fungus. 

Through this series, we would like to introduce you with the flowering trees that you can find in Hong Kong and we hope one day you will care about trees along the side of the road just as much as we do.

5 flowering trees are showcased in this series, including pink and white shower, golden trumpet tree, spider tree, chinaberry tree and tall bottle-brush.

We started the creation in a scientific approach that we drew every single element of those flowering trees, such that people can get to know them from scratch. After that, we tried to create another style by mixing and matching the elements in hand, and came up with some middle-ages style artworks, which are like those Persian carpets and stained glasses you can find in a castle town.
